1. Who we are

Monkey Serve (“we”, “the product”) is POS software for bars and restaurants, with an optional cloud owner portal. Contact for this site: info@monkeytech.al.

2. Marketing website

The marketing site is static. We do not use advertising cookies, and this version has no active form that posts data to our servers.

If you contact us by email, phone, or WhatsApp, we process the information you voluntarily send (e.g. name, number, email, message content) only to reply and to arrange a demo or support.

3. On-site POS software

Restaurant operations stay local: the Windows desktop app and database (SQL Server) on your infrastructure. Sales, tables, staff, and inventory data are primarily stored in your environment.

You (the restaurant) are responsible for customer and staff data you enter into the system, under applicable law in Albania and where you operate.

4. Cloud portal and sync

When you enable subscription / sync, operational data (e.g. sales, orders, open tables, users/roles as configured) may be sent to our cloud backend for analytics, licensing, reports, and desktop updates.

We use this data to provide the portal service, account security, support, and product improvement. We do not sell your data to third parties for advertising.

5. Retention and security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data (access controls, protected transport where applicable, sound hosting practice). No system is perfectly secure; please keep staff credentials and PINs safe.

6. Your rights

Under applicable law, you may request information, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about you as a business contact, or linked to a portal account — by writing to the email above.

For data stored only on the restaurant’s local server, requests should go to the restaurant operator.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. The update date appears at the top of the page. Continued use of the services after changes means you accept them to the extent permitted by law.
